Today I was out testning my new 24GHz equipment. I have bought a old Procom project LMT 1-24(DB6NT). Was qrv from Dybbøl Banke in JO44VV, heard DB0VC on 24GHz with 55, the distance was 95 km, so that’s not bad. Here som photos from the test

July 27 2014, I managed to work SM0 on 3cm rainscatter. Saw that Per, SM0DFP was working sm7, ask him for a sked, and to my big surprise I heard Per calling CQ answered him and the qso was complete. A new #(JP90) and same distance as old ODX on rs(oe5vrl),  787km (wgs84) !

Thanks for qso Per.

Rainscatter again again, but no rain here, for maybe 14 days, very dry here.

So worked 3 stations today, DL1HTT for the first time, DL7QY now qso 8 different days in 2014 and finaly DC6UW 59S+ as always.

Today I also heard my own signal via WebSDR a nice way to monitor signals on 10GHz, the SDR receiver is in Dresden, JO61VA.

Third day with RS on 10GHz, no rain here in JO44, but lots of rain in Germany.

Here what I worked, JN39 was a new square, tnx to DH1VY.

Worked 2 qso’s on rainscatter July 9, DL7QY(JN59) and DL3IAE(JN49). Heard also PA0BAT 59S (JO31) and SM7ECM(JO65).

Heard DM0UB(JO62KK) most evening, even at 21:30Z it was still 52s.

Worked 2 qso’s on rainscatter July 8, lots of rain in germany, but not many active, but managed to work 2 qso’s, DF1OI/P(jo42) and DL3YEE(jo50). The beacons DB0HRO(JO64) and DM0UB(JO62KK), could be heard here on rainscatter for 3-4 hours.

Peter(OZ1LPR) and I also worked 10 GHz from the field, here Peter is working DF0MU(356km) on SSb.

Peter-10GHzpeter10GHz

Nice evening yesterday, 23 qso’s, that’s the best 10GHz NAC ever, the rain made it possible for me to work sm7ecm, sm7dte and oz2ld. Because of a big house, it is not possible to work tropo from 55-115 degrees.

Also worked 2 new squares, thanks to DL6ABC(JO62) and SM6EAN/P(JO58).
